These two main characters are so sweet! Chuck is the strong, silent type, but I think that's more because, between his family and his new boyfriend, he can't get a word in edgewise. But it's Herb who I adore. His filterless chatter was a cute personality quirk, as was the enthusiasm to which he took to a sexual relationship with Chuck. Chuck's family was fantastic, as was the feisty witness, Mrs Botsova. Overall, the characterisation was just brilliant!The plot was better in description than in actuality. It could have been more tightly written and some threads - John's strange DADT issue which came from nowhere and went nowhere - took up space I would have liked to see devoted to seeing the MCs getting to know each other better.But the sex was hot and the characterisations wonderful so I enjoyed this story. TA Chase is becoming a favourite.
